Hi! I’m Amanda the chef and owner of Gingerly Baked. Since childhood I have been passionate about food and how it brings happiness into one’s life. As a young girl I eagerly helped my mom in the kitchen with cooking and baking. I started my first bakery position at the age of 15. After taking culinary arts in high school and working at my first job in the field I continued my love for food at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Baking and Pastry Management. Upon graduation I worked at several bakeries and restaurants in Connecticut and New York. When I moved to Colorado I continued to gain pastry knowledge while working at a number of bakeries, catering companies and private clubs including Castle Pines Golf Club, Cherry Hills Country Club, and Serendipity Catering.

My husband and I moved to Colorado in 2013 to enjoy the exceptional hiking, skiing, and live music! When I’m not in the kitchen or on the slopes I love exploring the Asian food scene in Denver and hosting dinner parties with my friends. I have a new found passion for gardening and have discovered I have a green thumb. But mostly, I love creating desserts, pastries and baked goods.

I have long believed that food helps restore us; body, heart and soul. It brings us together in celebrations. It offers us comfort and when shared with friends and loved ones, it brings joy. I strive to provide my community delicious desserts to add to their celebrations, to their dinner tables, picnics and parties, and to create moments and memories of happiness and pleasure. Every product made at Gingerly Baked will hold all my passion for baking and always be created with love.
