WEDDING CAKES AND CUSTOM ORDERS OF $800 AND OVER

 

CLIENT CONTRACT- DEPOSIT REQUIRED

Your order becomes reserved only when the contract is drawn up, signed & 50% (100% in the case the cake is booked less than two weeks in advance) booking retainer is received. You may secure your date with a $400 retainer when the details of your order are not yet finalized. The retainer is paid to reserve your date and is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. However, if you need to change dates or move your event, please call us and we’d be happy to make accommodating arrangements at no charge.

 

FINAL PAYMENT

The final balance is due two weeks before the event date. If your cake is ordered less than 2 weeks before the event date, the total amount is due immediately and your order will not be processed until payment is received.

CAKE CHANGES

The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style and flavors of the cake.  Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

 

DELIVERY & SET UP

Delivery and setup are required for all wedding cakes and for some multiple tier special occasion cakes. Delivery is a minimum of $200 for cakes within a 25-mile radius of Gingerly Baked and an additional $2.50 per mile round trip beyond 25 miles. If you want to pick up your cake, please make arrangements beforehand to set up a time. In the event that you pick up your cake, Gingerly Baked is not responsible for cakes that are damaged in transit.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cakes canceled prior to the 14 day lockout date can be refunded up to 50% of the total balance. Cakes canceled after the 14 day lockout date will not be refunded. In the event that something occurs to affect your scheduled event date – please contact us to discuss options. Communication is key; if you are up-front about any issues about your date we will work hard to accommodate you. We understand things can come up that are out of your control.

ALLERGINS

Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, eggs, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

 

OUR GUARANTEE

We promise to do everything in our power to deliver you a cake that exceeds your expectations. We will work with you on every level to make sure you are completely satisfied and happy with your cake. Please note that the colors and design of the actual cake may vary slightly from sketches and inspirational photos. All creations are completely custom and will not be exact copies of previously created designs.

 

DISCLAIMER

As your Cake Decorator, I agree to deliver your order in a timely and mutually agreed upon manner. Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of Gingerly Baked to complete the agreement and is subject to accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control. Certain creative changes may be made to your final design for the sake of stability, structural integrity or other certain emergencies.
